Helena Christina Mattsson (born 30th March 1984) was born in Stockholm Sweden. She is the mother of three siblings Sophia who is also an actress and is best recognized as Sasha Gilmore in the TV show General Hospital Cecilia and Mia who is a painter and worked on a variety of films in the art department. Helena was a resident of Stockholm for the majority of her growing up in Stockholm and graduated from the Performance Arts High School. Her move from Stockholm was to London for a second year to further studying acting. Following her graduation, she went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment sector. Helena had already been performing in Sweden in cabaret and Wild Side Story. When she relocated to the USA and began her career, she started by working in commercials. Her first appearance onscreen was on Swede Ohio (2004), but she struggled to get the roles she wanted due to her heavy accent. Helena started getting parts after she had developed her English. Her auditions were able for different roles following her performance in Alexis Blume, and she changed her name to Brandy on Betrayal in 2013.
